Change from the edge

Innocence was good there were no fears Childhood was a period We were free to let flow our tears Mind didn't have much to worry All grudges one could easily burry Life was a feast, of colourful days Lots of choices and myriad ways No manual of happiness guided anyone No timelines to chase and get stuff done Silly acts, too made us bloom Frowns had no fixed room Stars were pure magic Moon played the trick It's periodic waxing and waning From shapes of a disc to a deformed ring Then the knowledge was imparted in institutions About the actual stars and the world Which had an impact that was mind-bending And gradually innocence became an ephemeral thing As we grew up, with implicit meanings We got wrapped up in worldly things Now we are lost in a labyrinth Mutually coexisting in a myth That the world will change and then will we Till then, just wait and out we see Why not look within yourself and let the change begin from thee Do you fear the wrat...

The Disposable Attitude

Disposable as a word and a character trait has secured a significant place in all spheres of our lives. Disposables usually refers to use and throw products with a very short life-span. It is for the sake of our convenience that we choose disposables. From tissue paper, cutlery, and now  even people are treated as disposable. If you talk to an elderly person with a pen tucked in his shirt pocket, and ask him about the pen. He would describe how and when he got it, how many times it has been refilled, wiped, maintained, lost and found until this day. You will find his eyes gleaming with pride on having preserved the pen so well and not because of the monetary value it holds. You may wonder what is it that is he too attached to a thing? Try  asking him about any furniture or his relationships too and you would a the pattern I am urging you to look at.You would notice that for his generation, everything associated to one was valued far more than what we see around us in the...
